InnovaCommerce Requirements

What do you need for InnovaCommerce applications to work seamlessly with your PrestaShop online store and your traditional local merchant?

Computer equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Pentium D a 3,0 ghz
  • RAM: 1GB
  • 500 MB free on hard disk
  • LAN or WLAN network connection
  • Windows 7 or higher
  • .NET Framework 4.5 installed

RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS

  • Dual core (amd x2 or intel dual core / i3 / i5)
  • RAM: 4 GB ddr2/ddr3
  • 256GB SSD hard drive minimum
  • LAN or WLAN network connection
  • Windows 10
  • .NET Framework 4.5 installed

Internet connection

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • ADSL connection
  • 6 MB minimum download
  • 320 KB minimum upload

If you do not reach this minimum, InnovaCommerce is not valid to work in your environment, it needs this configuration as a minimum, otherwise we can not guarantee proper functioning.

RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS

  • vADSL connection
  • 20 MB minimum download
  • 3 MB minimum upload

If you have fiber optics available in your area, it would be ideal, because the higher the quality of the connection, the faster and more fluid InnovaCommerce will work against the database on the Internet.

Web Hosting

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Guaranteed RAM: 256MB
  • Unlimited size database
  • Database open to remote connections
  • Port Opening 3306

RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS

  • Guaranteed RAM: 1GB
  • 1 vCore processor

The idea is to have a private VPS server with quality resources, taking into account that the better your server is, the faster and more fluid InnovaCommerce can access the data in the database.

COMPATIBILITIES

Shared hosting of: 1and1, Strato, CDMon and Piensa Solutions are NOT supported, although there might be others we don’t know yet. These providers do not allow to open port 3306 for external connections, in their shared hosts.

Dedicated servers from: 1and1, Strato and Piensa Solutions are supported. These providers do allow opening port 3306 for external connections on their dedicated servers. Any other vendor with VPS and dedicated servers are also supported.

Make sure that your provider allows you to open database ports and persistent connections before contracting InnovaCommerce.

Other things to keep in mind

P2P APPLICATIONS

InnovaCommerce can be affected in its performance and therefore in its proper functioning if there are p2p download programs (emule, vuze, utorrent, etc…) running on the same network where you work with InnovaCommerce. Make sure that this does not happen, as it is one of the most common causes of poor performance of our applications.

VIRUS and MALWARE

Make sure you also have a good antivirus and anti-malware, it is very common that applications such as InnovaCommerce are slow because some virus or malware is making use of the Internet and reduces bandwidth. You will notice this with other applications on your computer as well.

STREAMING MUSIC

It limits the use of streaming music like Spotify, because it reduces the bandwidth of your connection and therefore InnovaCommerce may not work properly having my cuts and blocks.
